What we are doing

In order to keep up with current legislation and guidance, we joined the Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers and completed an accredited course in Holiday Let Cleaning for Covid-19. Full details of our risk assessment and cleaning protocol are available to view in the links below.

  • Between bookings, the house will be thoroughly cleaned as usual. When there is less than 3 days between bookings the house will also be thoroughly sanitised. A virucidal disinfectant (unfragranced and conforming to EN14476) will be used on all touchpoints and hard surfaces (with particular attention to plastic and stainless-steel surfaces).

  • All towels and bedding are washed at 60°C.

  • All cupboards will be emptied of left-over food and toiletries.

  • A supply of hand sanitiser, cleaning materials and disinfectant spray is provided.

 

What we are asking our guests to do

  • Keep the house clean and air the rooms regularly.

  • Before leaving, empty all drawers and cupboards as well as the fridge and freezer.

  • Checkout by 10am at the very latest, to give us enough time to complete a safe changeover.

  • Remove bedding from all used beds and put them in bags with all used towels.
